It depends on the trowel size used and the texture of the subfloor.  For the Universal trowel we supply with our adhesive, 165 to 225 sf per gallon. Using a 1/16” x 1/16” x 1/16” square notch 160 sf per gallon.

With a slab that is over 90% RH there is a moisture issue that needs to be corrected.  Do moisture mitigation don’t rely on the adhesive to fix the problem.

Inform the GC you won’t be able to install until the building is closed in and the permanent HVAC system is operating.

Yes, using the primer/sealer recommended by the gypcrete manufacturer.

Being a solid vinyl product, it is waterproof.  That does not mean water will not affect the adhesive or that hydrostatic pressure can’t blow it off the slab.

Waxing is not mandatory, but if you decide to wax, we recommend you use an acrylic floor finish.
